We act as the Data Controller for the personal data processed through our Service.   • Screenshots of dating profiles or chat threads
  • Text you type (her replies, context, instructions)
  • The voice/risk preferences and matches you save

Screenshots may contain personal data about other people (your match). You are responsible for ensuring you may share that content. We process it only to generate suggestions for you.

2.2 Information We Collect Automatically

  • Log data (IP address, browser/device information)
  • Feature usage and interaction patterns
  • Authentication tokens and preference cookies

2.3 Information From Third Parties

  • Basic profile information from Google Sign-In
  • Transaction status and payment confirmation from our payment provider

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide the Service: create your account, read your screenshots into suggestions, coach replies, track date readiness, process subscriptions
  • Improve the Service: analyze usage patterns, fix bugs, develop features
  • Communicate: service notifications, support, and — with your consent — product updates
  • Security: detect and prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms

We do not use your uploaded screenshots or conversations to train AI models.

5.1 We Do Not Sell Your Data

  • Google Cloud / Vertex AI (Gemini): processes your screenshots and text to generate suggestions
  • Firebase (Google): authentication
  • Google Cloud Storage: temporary storage of uploaded screenshots
  • Paddle.com: payments, acting as Merchant of Record

5.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or to investigate fraud.

5.4 Business Transfers

In a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may transfer to the new owner.

6. Data Retention

  • Uploaded screenshots: kept for up to 30 days so you can revisit a match, then automatically deleted by a storage lifecycle rule.
  • Saved matches (analysis, conversation, suggestions): retained while your account is active.
  • Account data: retained while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of account closure.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@hintder.ai.

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, role-based access control, secure authentication via Firebase, and continuous monitoring. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

9. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside your residence (primarily on Google Cloud). We rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses and adequacy decisions.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended only for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and core functionality, and may use limited analytics cookies to understand usage. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
